Mustang Makes Some Noise at PRI 2009
As is typically the case at PRI, Mustang Dynamometer made a lot of noise and created quite a buzz with our outside dyno exhibit. This year Mustang featured a trailer-mounted portable AWD-500 Series dyno with our NEW 1/4 Mile Sprint Simulation Software outside, While another AWD-500, MD-1100-SE, and an eddy current engine dyno were featured at our inside display. Joining us this year to support our efforts where the guys from TORQ, Appalachian Performance, and Mechanical Simulation. The Torq 2010 Camaro SS was the star of the show making 1/4 mile run after 1/4 mile run for a total of 78 and a best time of 11.4 and a top speed run over 170MPH (in 5th gear...still 1 more gear to go). Mustang drew large crowds and gathered much of the media to cover the spectacle.
