Since its beginnings in 1974, Mustang Dynamometer has prided itself at being the best value in the industry. We consider our customers our friends – without them we would not be here. When our customers buy a Mustang Dynamometer product they not only purchase machinery, they also buy into our total commitment to customer service and satisfaction policy. As a customer, you have access to our marketing and advertising resources, our service department, our sales engineers and application specialists, our mechanical and electrical engineers, our software programmers, management staff, and all of our friends on the industry – as they are now your friends too. We are not the lowest price product on the market, nor do we wish to be. We know the recipe for designing and building a quality dynamometer product and cutting corners is not an option. On the same token, we are not over-priced. Instead, Mustang offers equipment to the automotive market place that is of the best overall value – with the highest quality available at mid-level pricing. After meeting with us and seeing our product in action, we know you will agree.
Mustang offers all of its equipment at a base price with optional upgrades. Base equipment is configured for a pit install, and includes all required installation hardware and pit covers if they are required. The base price for our equipment also includes a Pentium IV personal computer system, a 17-inch color monitor and a heavy duty shop roll-around cabinet with swivel casters – none of which are offered by our competitors in their base offering. While Mustang does publish a yearly Price Schedule for all of its standard products, pricing can vary slightly due to the fluctuating cost of steel and transportation costs during any particular year. For this reason, Mustang does not publish a firm price schedule on-line. Instead, Mustang offers each customer a professional, individualized pricing quotation for the equipment and services they are most interested in. To help you place yourself in a price range, please refer to the price ranges listed below for our most popular products. Please note that depending on the options selected, pricing can be more or less than the pricing range published. Additionally, pricing does not include transportation costs to your facility or installation costs. Transportation costs will vary with location and product chosen, however, most costs range between $700.00 and $3,000.00. Installation costs vary even more. Pit installs typically cost between $4,000.00 and $10,000.00 – depending on your location and the size of the pit. Aboveground installations require more equipment be purchased with the dynamometer, but do not require construction. In all cases, a forklift must be made available when the equipment arrives. Rental of this type of equipment ranges between $300.00 per day and $1,000.00 per day, depending on the size of the forklift and pricing in your area.
Pricing subject to change without notice. Ranges vary based on options chosen and are meant to be used as a guide only. Please contact a sales engineer if you have questions.
