CAN Communication is Now Available for Use with Hole Shot™ Controls Software
Twinsburg, Ohio, April 11, 2023: Mustang Dynamometer has announced that CAN Communication is now an option when using the company’s proprietary Hole Shot™ dyno controls software version 1.1.9 or later.
In addition to the option of CAN Communication with Hole Shot software, Mustang is now offering two new adapters for purchase from Mustang Dynamometer’s website. These adapters allow the connection to the server to the vehicles computer system, transmission, and engine via CAN Communication with the CAN to USB adapter
Hole Shot software’s CAN interface Utility does not include any device’s or vehicle-specific CAN libraries or “.dbc files”. Customers will need these files based on the device being used to interface with Hole Shot software.

Hole Shot controls software has a limit of (10) CAN channels for any one device or vehicle.
